Alex Cringle, Chief Product Officer, StashAway Alex is StashAway's Chief Product Officer, overseeing the evolution of StashAway's financial and technology products to meet growing investor needs. He is responsible for providing strategic guidance and management of the product management, product marketing, and product design teams working across the range of products. The most recent products being launched range from StashAway's Flexible Portfolios and Cash Management solutions. Prior to joining StashAway, Alex was a Senior Product Director of Funding Societies | Modalku Group, focusing on improving SME's accessibility to financing across SE Asia. He has been working in financial technology over the past 10 years across the UK and SE Asia, with a particular focus on the digitalisation of wealth management services. Alex began his career in electronic trading on the banking side for four years and transitioned into the fintech space. His first startup was to help banks and asset managers build trading technology. He then moved to Nutmeg, a robo-advisor in The United Kingdom before his excellent work at Funding Societies. To quote Alex, “I've always had a strong desire to improve the accessibility and experience of wealth management for all. I've seen firsthand the meaningful impact that having a financial plan, and access to services traditionally reserved for a select few, can have on individuals' lives. This has motivated me to do this on a global level.” His passion to enable investors to have world-class experience and accessibility in wealth management has driven him to consistently develop high-quality products to have a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
