Of these, 19 are now unicorns: Marqeta (NASDAQ: MQ); Circle, Dave (NASDAQ: DAVE), Taulia (acquired by SAP), Pico, Upgrade, Figure, WeFox, Addepar, Monzo, Trumid, FundBox, Array, Pipe, Tradeshift, Cross River, H2O.ai, Varo, Acorns. Others include Curve, Railsbank, NAV, Plastiq, Branch, BioCatch, EmpInfo, Ladder Life, Ellevest, True Accord, Aspire, Sila Money, and ArboWorks.
Globally experienced board director, investor, and banker. Have lived and worked in San Francisco, Singapore, and India. An alumna of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, and Fulbright Fellow & Visiting Scholar at Stanford.
Board Director since 2011 on bank/NBFI boards. Currently serving as Independent NED on boards of Gulf International Bank (Saudi Arabia), Upgrade Inc. (neo-bank in the US), and Curve Inc. (UK/EU payments).
Board Advisor: On the Global Advisory Board of Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI); Digital advisor to the board of directors of OCBC Bank, Singapore; On the panel of board nominees of PIF (sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia); Member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Fintech Steering Committee since 2015; Previously on advisory board of the Government of Estonia’s e-Residency program.

A former banking executive with over two decades of experience with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in global leadership roles including Global Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Was a member of SCB's global executive leadership team, a member of the Global Technology & Operations Management Group, and a member of the Global Risk Management Group.
Industry awards and honors include Distinguished Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance (Risk Management) since 2013; Innovation Fellow at the National University of Singapore; Fellow at SUSS, Singapore since 2016; and Fintech Industry expert at UC Berkeley (SCET).
