Geoff Ira

Fintech Product Leader

Geoff brings more than a decade of experience from wealth management, corporate & investment banking, risk management and fintech supervision as co-founder and CEO of TradeTogether. He started his career back in 2008 in a financial planning and trading house by helping retail investors with their assets to navigate through the Global Financial Crisis. He also gained experience managing trading operations in the OTC market on behalf of European Brokers in France at BNP & Calyon. Over the past 7 Years, Geoff had the opportunity to serve as Standard Chartered Bank representative in SWIFT KYC Registry committee (Wolsberg questionnaire implementation group). Geoff was also in charge to implement the Group Fintech Policy in Standard Chartered Bank (Payment Service Guidance) in 2019, in Singapore. His last role was Chief Risk Officer of a Fintech Venture called Autumn, a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank incubated in SC Ventures. Geoff serves as TradeTogether representative at the Singapore Fintech Association. Geoff holds a certificate from Oxford/Saïd Business School (Fintech Program) as well as a certificate from MIT Business School (Cybersecurity Playbook for Managers) and a Certificate in Computer Science from Singapore Management University (coding with Python). Geoff graduated from IAE France with a Master’s Degree in Banking & Insurance Management. Geoff also completed a Master’s Degree in Political Science at Montpellier University. Geoff is a regular speaker in conferences and has been interviewed several times on Singapore’s national radio MoneyFM 89.3. He also host a podcast that discusses on tech, start-ups and anything entrepreneurial – Breath Tech In. Geoff was seen most recently speaking at the 3rd Annual Private Wealth Asia Forum and was also recently interviewed on “Your Money & Me with Michelle Martin” on MoneyFM 89.3 in May 2022.
