Katie Mitchell

Women in Fintech

My career has been guided by a passion for channeling the power of technology to drive social impact and change.
When I'm not building the future of impactful financial services, you can find me:
-Advising new startups/non profits (pro-bono consultant)
-Chasing the light to get a great shot - Patagonia has republished some of my photography on several occasions.
-Rowing on our world's rivers and lakes (I was a dual-sport Division 1 athlete in volleyball and rowing and later competed as an elite rower training alongside members of the US National Team)
-Swimming, Biking, and Running (I'm an ironman triathlete and ultrarunner)
-Summiting the world's peaks (have seen the sunrise from Mt Rainier, Kilimanjaro, Khuiten (Mongolia's highest peak! with more on the horizon)
-Waving at sealife 100 feet below (advanced scuba diver)
-Adventuring across and advocating for this world we call home and the beautiful people in it (I've taught English in Northeastern Iraq along the Iranian border)
