Mila is the Chief Growth Hacker at Tonik, the Philippines’ first purely digital neobank and one of the most funded fintechs in Southeast Asia. She oversees the neobank’s commercial growth and marketing efforts and was instrumental in bringing in USD20M (PHP1B) worth of consumer deposits within the first month of its commercial launch in Q1 2021 – a historic feat for any new bank launching in the country. Mila brings over a decade of expertise in scaling multiple ventures in emerging markets in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Tonik, she served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and subsequently, Deputy CEO of SolarHome – a pioneer venture currently based in Myanmar that brings Pay-As-You-Go (“PAYG”) Solar for 27 million off-grid households in Southeast Asia. Further, she served as Head of Marketing at Platinum Bank working closely with senior management team to accelerate financial inclusion in the Ukrainian market
