Joanna is a passionate builder applying new technologies and innovative financial structuring to empower the Next Billion to sustainably grow. After work across finance and data, she is currently building Arukah, a blockchain-enabled capital markets infrastructure to scale affordable credit to small businesses in regional supply chains by rewarding them for sustainability. Joanna serves as an Impact Investment Committee member of the UN Sanitation and Hygiene Fund, an independent non-executive director of the IFC’s partner for distressed asset recovery in Southeast Asia, and an advisor to Figure Technologies, which has scaled over $12 billion in regulated financial services on blockchain.
