Jaya Kapur

Jaya Kapur’s first foray into technology was whilst she was at Ernst & Young, where she led global cross-sector project teams, developing thought leadership and industry insights for the CleanTech space.

Fast forward to today, Jaya heads the Product Team at Instarem, with 8 years of product experience at PayPal and an MBA from INSEAD in tow.

Jaya leads a team that has redefined the payments space in APAC. Jaya’s team has worked to make cross-border payment simple, enjoyable and fuss-free through exemplary design and exceptional speed of transfers overseas.

She pioneered the launch of APAC’s first smart travel card and highly acclaimed travel card - amaze, under the Instarem suite of products. Her most recent game-changing addition to Instarem has been revamping the rewards program at Instarem to ensure customers are able to be rewarded in a way that they choose and makes sense for them.

Jaya leads by example, being a woman-in-tech and a mom-in-tech, inspiring women around her to dream big and build great things. In her spare time, Jaya volunteers as a mentor at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women where she supports educating and empowering women with an entrepreneurial spirit in low and middle income countries, bridging the gender gap in entrepreneurship.
