Onyx by J.P. Morgan is at the forefront of a major shift in the financial services industry, and our Coin Systems team seeks to help address the complex challenges of cross-border payments, simplify clients' liquidity and funding needs, and offer next generation corporate treasury services.

Sai is the Lead Architect for Coin Systems within Onyx by J.P. Morgan who designed our inaugural product solution, JPM Coin. JPM Coin is a permissioned system that serves as a payment rail and deposit account ledger, allowing participating J.P. Morgan clients to transfer U.S. dollars held in deposit with J.P. Morgan and facilitating the movement of liquidity funding and payments in right time.

He was an active participant in Project Ubin since its inception in 2016 and subsequently co-led design of the Partior multicurrency settlement platform with industry partners as Ubin entered the commercialization phase.

Sai’s banking expertise, deep technical knowledge and leadership skills were key to the successful engineering of Quorum blockchain technology that powers JPM Coin and Partior platforms.
