Sandra Lam

Women in Corporate

Sandra Lam is an innovation practitioner and advocate in the financial services industry. She works as Innovation Catalyst and FinTech Partnerships Lead, Senior Vice President at Citi Innovation Lab Singapore where she drives the acceleration of innovation delivery with start-ups, regulatory bodies, and academia partners. She is dedicated to foster partnerships between mature corporates and agile start-ups to accelerate transformation of businesses. She leads experiments by designing proof of concepts and expedite connectivity with start-ups via sandbox. She also leads FinTech program in Citi to coach industry experts on innovating by bringing the outside in.

Sandra has spent more than a decade in the financial services and technology. Leveraging her experience in the innovation field, she has written the book, “The Intrapreneurship Formula” (to be published in 2H2022), to help corporate leaders drive innovation through empowering their employees. Known for her passion, curiosity, and strong collaboration skills, she has managed change, led innovation, and coached intrapreneurship, putting organizations on a path of growth enabled by technology. In addition, she also applies design thinking and co-creation in various sectors and led technology product development from ideation. 

Sandra is currently on a sabbatical leave with Citi to pursue Sloan Fellows MBA at MIT. She also holds a Master’s degree in IT in Business from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong.
