I have a proven track record in Sales & Business Development, Product Management, P&L Management and Cross-Geography Team Management. My experience spans multiple geographies - Asia-Pacific markets like S.E. Asia, Australia, India, Korea, Japan and Greater China as well as the United States - specifically around driving partnerships, client development, building products, managing regulatory engagements and scaling operations. I believe that great people and motivated teams are the key to success and have been lucky enough to lead several talented teams through my career.
I am regularly invited to present and moderate discussions at leadership meetings, offsite sessions and industry events. Forums I have spoken or presented at include the Global Fintech Festival, SG Fintech Festival, SG Fintech Association, Women in Payments, Interserkt Australia, Fintech New Zealand, Money 2020, American Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Singapore, the Entrepreneurs Organization Asia and the Human Capital Leadership Institute.
I've also evaluated, mentored & advised start ups, most recently as part of the MAS Fintech Awards, Global FinTech Hackcelerator (organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore) and previously the FinLab Challenge (organized by the UNCDF, Bank Negara Malaysia & Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation).
I am passionate about diversity & inclusion issues in the workplace. Most recently I served as a Mentor for the Led By Foundation, a leadership program for the development of young Indian Muslim women. In 2019, I was selected as a Rise Up 'Power Player' honoring the Top 30 Women in Payments in Asia. I am currently a Grassroots Leader for the People’s Association of Singapore (Balmoral Neighborhood Committee).What I do best is make order out of chaos. I enjoy building businesses and new functions ground up, particularly in emerging markets.
