Runn Sachasiri, CFA

Runn heads existing customer experience and revenue for APAC at Nium, responsible for ~30% of Nium's revenue. Prior to this role, he headed global expansion at Nium and was also held the role of Chief of Staff for global CEO, Mr. Prajit Nanu. Nium isn't the the first payment gig for Runn - Prior to Nium, Runn led the strategy and growth for PayPal in some of its key markets (such as Japan, Mexico and other international markets). His payment experiences also stems from the time as an investment banker (IPOs and M&As for various financial institutions) and as a consultant at McKinsey & Company (working with banks and financial institutions in the region).
Runn has led multiple strategic projects at Nium, from key capabilities launches, profitability improvements, regulatory applications to partnership discussions. In the past year, Runn was responsible for launching Nium Travel VCC product in APAC - a product which all of the major OTAs in the region (eg., Trip.com and over 20 others) are using to solve their B2B payment needs for payment to airlines and hotels around the world. This launched fueled Nium's overall growth in the region over the past 12 months.
Runn has volunteered his time to support as a member of payments subcommittee at the Singapore Fintech Association even with his busy schedule. In addition, Runn also represents Nium to Singapore Business Federation's Young Business Leaders Network.
He also is a mentor to selected fintech startup founders and professionals in SEA and India as a way to give back to the community.
