Varun Mittal introduced me to Chandrima nearly three years ago. At that time, Chandrima was already a successful entrepreneur with a notable exit under her belt. I immediately recognized in her a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem. Engaging with someone like Chandrima, who has navigated the
highs and lows of the startup journey, brings immense value. We’ve developed an extremely constructive relationship that continues to grow over time. Today, I see her as an older sister.
Chandrima has been instrumental in helping me manage my relationship with VC investors. Her guidance was invaluable when my co-founder and I had to navigate a significant cap table restructuring, especially in advising on how best to approach the VCs. She has a remarkable ability to find the right
words to ensure I remain well-protected as an entrepreneur. I have consistently relied on Chandrima for strategic thinking in managing investor and large Financial Institution relations, as well as navigating licensing and regulatory matters. Her ability to maintain a necessary perspective before important decisions
has been a tremendous asset.

We are now over three years in operation. The cap table has been preserved exactly as I intended, and we are wellpositioned to soon obtain full licensing.

She is encouraging and fully understands the challenges of building a business, having been through it multiple times herself. Today, I would describe our relationship as fraternal, and we help each other as entrepreneurs whenever we can.

The one piece of advice that she gave me that really stuck with me was: “Always choose investors with great care.” It’s essential to ensure that the VCs ring on board provide real value and fully align with my company’s value proposition.
